Name That Recital – Congratulations to Carrie Stout for winning the contest to name the 2009 inMotion Center recital, Dazzle! Thanks to everyone who participated.

Recital T Shirts- The orders have been placed for recital t-shirts, if you forgot you can do an order this week but this is your absolute last chance so don’t wait and get your order in today! 

Triumph Martial Arts – Did you miss the free class last night? Don’t worry you can still come and try just visit the link on the right hand menu for other dates and times! Martial arts is a great way to be get in shape, stay physically fit and have fun!

Pictures-Please remember it’s picture week for many classes. Check the schedules for the correct times, most photos take place near or on your regular class time. Again please check the schedule and try to arrive early. Thank you!

Monthly Tuition-Remember tuition is due the first week of every month and is considered late if not paid BEFORE the 8th of the month. On the 8th of the month a late fee of $10 will be assessed to your account. Please be sure to drop off your payment promptly this week so as not to incur a late fee. Thank you!

Colfax Drill Team Show-inMotion was once again invited to perform at the Colfax Drill Team. Several classes, dance company members and a team of cheerleaders attended.Here is some highlights and some clips of the inMotion performers. Enjoy the movie!

Tights-The first order of tights have arrived. If you ordered but not paid for your tights please stop by the front desk to pay and pick them up promptly. If you missed out on ordering the tights the first time around you can do so this week so be sure to get your order in! We do not have extra tights for sale, all tights must be ordered. If you are not sure what tights your child needs or wears the information and form are located at the front desk or can be found by clicking the links below.

Mom & Daughter Dance-Calling all moms & daughters for duos! We’ll be performing a mother daughter dance in this year’s recital. Schedules are being distributed at the front desk and can also be found by clicking the link below. Please note there are only 5 practice dates scheduled so don’t miss any of them! The costume required is a recital t-shirt. Orders for recital t-shirts will be taken soon.

Photo Order Forms-This week photo order forms will be handed out to all inMotion classes. Be sure to note your child’s picture date & time. You can download an copy of the picture schedule HERE. If you misplace your order form more will be available the day of pictures at Bob Hawkins Studio.

Finale Rehearsal-This year seperate rehearsals are being held for finale. Please pick up a copy of the schedule or download one from the link below. You don’t have to be at all the rehearsal times but should come to one a week unless you require more practice.

Spring Break- inMotion Center is closed this week March 17-21 for spring break.  You can contact the studio and leave a message or send an email and your contact will be followed up within 24 hours. Thank you and enjoy the week

The Big Packet-Last week we sent with all the students a big packet of papers! We hope it made it home to you, if not we don’t worry we have extras at the studio and will be putting the packet here on our website shortly for you to download as well. The packet contained info for pictures, summer classes, summer camps, dress rehearsal, recital & more! Be sure you take a moment to look it all over and mark your calendars so you don’t miss anything!  

FREE Cheer Tryout Clinic - Spring is coming and so are cheerleading tryouts! Anyone interested in trying out for a cheerleading team is invited to attend a FREE clinic at inMotion Center!

WHEN: March 22, 2008 

WHERE: inMotion Center 

TIME: 1-3pm Skills  3:15-4:15 Mock tryouts

All participants will learn correct motion and jump techniques that are essential to cheerleading as well as what to expect and how a cheerleading tryout works.  At the end of the skills session there will be mock tryouts for anyone wanting to practice a tryout scenario and receive feedback and tips to improve their performance.  Particpants can participate in one, the other or both sessions at their discretion.   Please come dressed in comfortable exercise clothing and tennis shoes. No jeans or street shoes will be allowed. This clinic is being directed by Rose Farver & Jerrica Umbarger, inMotion Inferno All Star’

s coaches.  Rose & Jerrica have more than 20 years experience between them as cheerleaders, coaches and judges.  If you have any questions please contact Rose at 641-792-4649. We hope to see you there!

Name That Recital - Do you want to win a cool inMotion t-shirt and bragging rights for an entire year? Now you can by playing Name That Recital! The 2008 Recital is called “Seasons” but we’re already looking ahead to 2009. We need an energetic one word name for the recital, so get out your dictionary and put on your thinking cap. Fill out the form in the office at the front desk and drop it in the box! Be sure to date your entry and include all the information on the form. GOOD LUCK!
