Thank you to EVERYONE who participated and came out the Inferno All Stars Car wash on Saturday @ Drugtown! It was great fun and a great success raising $682.00!

Car Wash & Late Registration!

 

Registration-Did you miss the 2008/2009 registration dates? NO PROBLEM! You can call the studio at 641-792-4649 or you can sign up on August 25 4pm-8pm. Whatever is most convenient for you! Hurry though as classes are filling fast!

Car Wash-The Inferno All Stars are holding a car wash/fundraiser Saturday August 2 10am-1pm at HyVee Drugtown. Bring your dirty cars by and get all cleaned up for only $5/car! The cheerleaders are raising funds to pay for their first competition and appreciate your support!

2008/2009 Class Registration!

The brochures have all been mailed earlier this month and we hope you’ve all been receiving them! Be sure to look through them carefully for changes, new classes and other new information! Class registration is this week so be sure to stop in and sign up early as classes fill rather quickly and finally we dare you to compare! Compare our prices to other studios…we bet you’ll find you get more for your money and save at inMotion!

Pictures-Please remember it’s picture week for many classes. Check the schedules for the correct times, most photos take place near or on your regular class time. Again please check the schedule and try to arrive early. Thank you!

Monthly Tuition-Remember tuition is due the first week of every month and is considered late if not paid BEFORE the 8th of the month. On the 8th of the month a late fee of $10 will be assessed to your account. Please be sure to drop off your payment promptly this week so as not to incur a late fee. Thank you!

Colfax Drill Team Show-inMotion was once again invited to perform at the Colfax Drill Team. Several classes, dance company members and a team of cheerleaders attended.Here is some highlights and some clips of the inMotion performers. Enjoy the movie!

Spring Break- inMotion Center is closed this week March 17-21 for spring break.  You can contact the studio and leave a message or send an email and your contact will be followed up within 24 hours. Thank you and enjoy the week

The Big Packet-Last week we sent with all the students a big packet of papers! We hope it made it home to you, if not we don’t worry we have extras at the studio and will be putting the packet here on our website shortly for you to download as well. The packet contained info for pictures, summer classes, summer camps, dress rehearsal, recital & more! Be sure you take a moment to look it all over and mark your calendars so you don’t miss anything!  

FREE Cheer Tryout Clinic - Spring is coming and so are cheerleading tryouts! Anyone interested in trying out for a cheerleading team is invited to attend a FREE clinic at inMotion Center!

WHEN: March 22, 2008 

WHERE: inMotion Center 

TIME: 1-3pm Skills  3:15-4:15 Mock tryouts

All participants will learn correct motion and jump techniques that are essential to cheerleading as well as what to expect and how a cheerleading tryout works.  At the end of the skills session there will be mock tryouts for anyone wanting to practice a tryout scenario and receive feedback and tips to improve their performance.  Particpants can participate in one, the other or both sessions at their discretion.   Please come dressed in comfortable exercise clothing and tennis shoes. No jeans or street shoes will be allowed. This clinic is being directed by Rose Farver & Jerrica Umbarger, inMotion Inferno All Star’

s coaches.  Rose & Jerrica have more than 20 years experience between them as cheerleaders, coaches and judges.  If you have any questions please contact Rose at 641-792-4649. We hope to see you there!

Name That Recital - Do you want to win a cool inMotion t-shirt and bragging rights for an entire year? Now you can by playing Name That Recital! The 2008 Recital is called “Seasons” but we’re already looking ahead to 2009. We need an energetic one word name for the recital, so get out your dictionary and put on your thinking cap. Fill out the form in the office at the front desk and drop it in the box! Be sure to date your entry and include all the information on the form. GOOD LUCK!

inMotion Dance Company -  The iMc Dance Company will be competiting Sunday February 24, 2008 at the Des Moince Civic Center in the Starbound Dance Competition. Please be sure to arrive completely ready to cheer as there is very limited time to prepare before the show starts.   Teams Heat & Flames Coach Rose has your hair bows and will bring them to the performance.  After the teams are done performing they will be sitting in the upper west balcony for parents to pick up. Snow Day Make Up Classes- inMotion has scheduled make up dates for the latest round of snow dates.   A complete list has begun to be distributed in classes and is available for download as well. Please be sure to mark your calendars with these dates. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and view the documents.

Please note Wednesday Feb 6 classes that were cancelled due to weather are not required to be made up as each class is allowed one snow day per year. As we’ve not had to cancel any classes on Wednesday so far this year this will be counted as the one allowed snow day. Thank you.

NHS Pacesetter Show - Mark your calendars for February 23, 2008! Its the annual NHS Pacesetter Show! The Inferno All Star Cheerleaders have been invited as guest performers! The show starts @  7pm and is held at Newton High School.  Admission is $5.00  per person.

Studio Life - Today’s studio life looks back to August 2007 where inMotion takes the AE Stage at the Iowa State Fair! inMotion has been invited as feature performers for severaral years now. The teachers and students really enjoy the experience! Here are a few fun pics from the day!

CLASSES CANCELED – As inMotion follows the Newton School District calendar and cancellation policy due to classes being canceled for the school today there will be no classes this evening at inMotion. Make up classes will be scheduled at a later date and time and announced accordingly. Thank you.

Inferno Cheerleaders- (Team Flames) Saturday practice is now going to start at 9:30am and finish at 10:30am. Please note this is a change from the schedule/calendar which shows practice starting at 10am.

2008 Pacesetter Show-The Inferno Cheerleaders have again been invited to perform at the 2008 NHS Pacesetter Show! We’re very excited and honored to be invited back for the 3rd year! The Pacesetter show is February 23, 2008 and is held at the Newton High School. More info will be posted and sent home closer to this event.
